Came into this store at 3 separate occasions today and could not, for the life of me, get any service. I’ve never experienced a slower pace of movement, service or conversation before and was so disappointed. Birkenstock is obviously a good product but please buy online if you… can and save yourself the hassle of waiting 1 whole year to be looked after.
I donu2019t normally leave a negative review, but I have to say that the staff has poor customer service. Visited today and the staff there did not bother greeting us. For the entire time we were browsing, none of them asked if we were okay or needed any assistance(while they… talked to each other at the cashier table), as if we were invisible. It was not something I would expect from a customer service professional. My friend had a piece she wanted to purchase but decided not to, as we felt unwelcome. The store was lovely and had beautiful pieces, yet I donu2019t think I would go back.
Shout out to the Birkenstock team in Melbourne, especially Belinda. Belinda was responsive, diligent, and customer focused regarding a matter I experienced at the store. Yesterday at 4pm, the overall positive experience was rounded out with the amazing staff at the Collins St… store. Also, a one week turnaround from the repair service! I didn't get the names of the staff yesterday, but they were super helpful, kind, and understanding. Overall, a 5/5 customer experience.
