About this event

Casual lunch for Business founders & operators. Have timeout with people of similar mindset over a 7 course-meal and bottomless drinks.

Most networking events feel like a transaction. You walk in, get a nametag slapped on your chest, and spend two hours dodging aggressive sales pitches.

This isn’t that.

I started this lunch series because I wanted a space for business owners and professionals in Melbourne to get away from the screen, have an exceptional meal, and talk shop with people of the same mindset.

The Timeline & Space

The Lunch will be held at Ming Dining starting from 12:00 PM. Food will be served at for us roughly from 12:15 PM to 1:30 PM. You are welcome to leave at this time (or earlier) if you need to go. However if you wanted to stay for bit, drinks will be served until 2pm. I’ll probably stay until then.

Food and Drink

Recently, I went down to the restaurant to personally vet the venue, sample the menu, and check out the space. It’s incredibly easy to get to, it’s just a short walk from Melbourne Central station.

I trialed the food and drink myself, and the 7-course menu is outstanding. I tried the standard option. If you are a vegetarian send me a message in advance after booking your ticket.

There is a list of Cocktails, Mocktails, Beer, Wine, Juice and Soft Drink that is bottomless. Drink as much as you like, but maybe not too much. Check out the Menu Here

How it works.

  • No Gimmicks: No nametags, no forced elevator pitches, and no standing up to introduce yourself to the room. Less pitching, more actual conversation.
  • Privacy: To protect everyone’s privacy, I will not be taking or posting any photos of the event.
  • Different Perspectives: Everyone brings a different view to the table. Disagreement is fine, but respect is mandatory. At the end of the day, it’s all just perspective.
  • No mailing list: Its just lunch. There will be no secret mailing lists I’m putting you on.

Total Cost Transparency ($119 per ticket)

In the spirit of keeping this entirely transparent, here is exactly where your money goes at checkout:

  • $69.00: Goes directly to to cover your 7-course premium lunch menu with bottomless drinks.
  • $42.44: Research, personally visit the venue and arrange the event. Also helps cover marketing costs and time dedicated to make this event happen.
  • $7.56 Eventbrite and credit card fees
