Let’s make art and picnic together!
Picnic at the gallery is a new series of events run by Many Hands Make, where we visit different galleries and exhibitions around Melbourne, and use their space to make art as a community.
This month, we head to the State Library in Windsor! They currently have an exhibition all about love called Rebel Heart to explore and use to prompt your own art making. We will then picnic outside on the lawn and keep making art.
Picnic and art supplies provided, but feel free to bring your own as well.
The State Library is not just a stunning architectural gem, but also a vibrant hub for creativity and community. Expect a relaxed atmosphere as we gather on the lawn, inspired by the 'Rebel Heart' exhibition, making art and enjoying each other's company under the Melbourne sky.
