Key Achievements and Initiatives in Sustainability
Achieving carbon neutrality in scope 3 emissions by 2030 remains a significant goal for Belkin. Released on 18th May 2026, the company’s 2025 Impact Report highlights their progress. Emissions reduction, circular design, and responsible packaging are central to their efforts.
In 2025, Belkin calculated carbon footprints for 131 products. That year marked their achievement of carbon neutrality in scope 1 and 2 emissions. “As we continue to make progress against our sustainability goals, we are taking deliberate steps to reduce our impact,” stated Steven Malony, CEO of Belkin.
Progress in Emissions and Recycling
Since 2019, a 95% reduction in single-use plastic packaging has been realised by Belkin. Over 21.6 million post-consumer recycled (PCR) products were sold, saving 640 metric tons of virgin plastic, equivalent to 53.6 million water bottles.
Funding for the recycling of 29,241 metric tons of electrical devices and 11,928 metric tons of packaging was provided by the company in 2025. Belkin expanded its battery recycling programme, notably in Australia through B-cycle and in the UK.
Post-consumer recycled materials usage at Belkin increased to up to 90% in select products. These products meet the Global Recycling Standard certification.
Recognition by the US EPA Green Power Partnership and a Beyond Best Practice rating from the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation underline Belkin’s commitment to sustainability. The company reduced 3,200 metric tons of CO2e in 2025 alone, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Belkin’s initiatives in responsible consumption and production saved 1,072 metric tons of plastic cumulatively, which equals 53.6 million water bottles. Continual efforts to reduce environmental impact drive Belkin’s sustainability initiatives.
Several best practice initiatives have been introduced by Belkin to further their journey towards carbon neutrality by 2030. These include their participation in Australia’s leading battery recycling initiative and expansion of their UK packaging recycling programme to include household packaging.
