What's On in Elsternwick

About events in Elsternwick

Elsternwick has a distinct charm that blends old-world character with a lively café and dining scene. We find leafy streets lined with Victorian architecture, Jewish bakeries wafting the scent of challah, and a sense of community that makes any visitor feel at home. The historic Classic Cinema is a beloved spot for film lovers, while the area’s boutique shops and cosy bars offer plenty to explore between events. There’s always something happening, whether it’s a local market, a comedy night, or a neighbourhood art show.

Getting to Elsternwick is simple, with both the Sandringham train line and several tram routes stopping right in the heart of the suburb. Once you arrive, everything is close enough to stroll on foot. We love how events here often spill out onto the footpaths, drawing neighbours and newcomers together in the welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that Elsternwick does so well.
