What's On in Fitzroy North

About events in Fitzroy North

Fitzroy North has a quieter, leafy charm that sets it apart from its neighbour to the south. Here, grand old terraces and wide streets give way to a local scene grounded in community, creativity and a love of the outdoors. We find the pace a little slower, yet there is always something going on, from small gigs and poetry readings in cosy pubs, to art exhibitions in converted shopfronts and weekend markets in Edinburgh Gardens. The area is popular with families and long-time locals, as well as younger folk drawn by its thoughtful blend of old and new.

Getting to Fitzroy North is easy. Trams run along St Georges Road and Nicholson Street, while bike paths and leafy walking routes make it a favourite for cyclists and pedestrians. Whether we're after a low-key night or a day of culture and coffee, Fitzroy North has a way of making us feel at home.
