Whether you’re moving beyond your Working Holiday Visa, on a partner visa, sponsorship, student visa, PR pathway, or already settled here, this social is for you!
We know that for many girls, Melbourne starts as a temporary stop and slowly turns into something more. And while that’s exciting, it can also feel hard when friendship groups shift, people move away, and you’re looking to build a more permanent circle around you.
That’s exactly what this social is for – helping you meet like-minded girls who are in a similar stage of life and looking for genuine, lasting friendships here in Melbourne.
What to expect:
✨ Instagram Group Chat – We’ll create an Instagram group chat the day before the event so you can introduce yourself, break the ice, or even arrange to arrive with someone.
🤝 Friendly Hosts – One of our lovely hosts will greet you on arrival and help guide you through the evening, including introducing you to other girls.
🥂 Welcome Drink & Name Tags – Enjoy a complimentary sparkling wine or soft drink on arrival, and grab a name tag to make meeting everyone that little bit easier.
💬 Friend-making Activities – Starting at 6:30pm, we’ll run some relaxed activities designed to get everyone chatting and connecting naturally.
📍 Reserved Area – We’ll have a dedicated space just for Melbourne Working Holiday Girls, so you can settle in knowing everyone is there for the same reason – to meet new people and make meaningful connections ❤️

T&C’s:
– Arrive between 6-6.30pm for your drink on arrival
– No refunds however you can sell or transfer your ticket to someone else
– Photos will be taken at the event for promotion purposes. If you would not like to be in the pictures, please let one of the volunteers know in the evening.
-Social open to girls aged 18-35 on visas/perm residents.
