About this event

Connect with like-minded people and get feedback on your work in a creative co-working space.
Looking for a community of creators to get support and bounce ideas? Want to have a creative coworking space to get sh*t done? Need honest and constructive feedback on your work?
Welcome to Many Hands Make’s creative co-working group! A creative support group for anyone working on a creative project.
As independent artists and creators, it can be extremely isolating to work on projects. This group brings together interdisciplinary creators to create and support one another, facilitated by creative, artist and musician Tash Atkins or one of our wonderful MHM community members.
Many Hands Make creates a coworking space for creatives trying to carve out careers in creative spaces. It’s especially for those looking for support from a community of like-minded people! The session will open with introductions and a brief FYI on what you’re working on. We’ll set goals and get to work. At the end, we will come together for a brainstorming and feedback session. Bring what you’re working on, get feedback and get focused time to get stuff done!
Time: 2–4pm
Location: Kathleen Symes Library, Activity Room 2, Carlton
What to bring: Bring whatever you are working on at the moment, or something that you can do on a laptop. As this is a community-building support group, feel free to bring food to share.

Kathleen Syme Library is a welcoming local hub, tucked just off Lygon Street, where the atmosphere always feels collaborative rather than competitive. The space itself is bright and community-focused, with plenty of nooks for quiet work and big tables that make sharing ideas feel natural. Sunday afternoons here are usually mellow, with a steady hum of students and locals. This group suits anyone working on a creative side project, from writers and illustrators to musicians and designers. Unlike many pay-to-join co-working setups, this one is free and genuinely about support, not networking. The regulars are friendly, and you’ll get thoughtful feedback in a laid-back, no-ego setting.
