The Deadlift

- How to setup properly and cue the deadlift for maximum strength

This workshop is suitable for those new to strength training as well as more experienced lifters. There will be theoretical components including in the workshop handout, with practical applications during the hands-on portions of the day.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a firm understanding of the hows and whys of these movements as well as the expectations for competitive lifting.
Iron Revolution Gym is one of those local spots where serious lifters mix with everyday gym-goers, and you can always feel the camaraderie in the air. Expect a focused but welcoming vibe, with plenty of encouragement and real talk about what works-locals rate this place for its no-nonsense approach and well-kept equipment. The suburb itself is low-key but easy to get to from most of the north-west, and you will often spot a mix of regulars and new faces at these events. This workshop is ideal for anyone who wants more confidence in the squat, bench or deadlift-especially those training solo or thinking of entering a comp. The chance to get detailed feedback from experienced coaches in a small-group setting is what sets this apart from bigger, less personalised seminars around Melbourne.
