About this event
We're heading northside for a full day of heavy riffs, local talent and a true Coburg party as The Graveyard Bar marks its first birthday. If you like your live music outdoors with a backyard feel, this is one of those rare community gigs that feels straight from the heart.
Graveyard Bar is celebrating its first year with a massive weekend bash including some of our nearest and dearest friends and performers.
On Friday the 16th a mystery reforming headliner will join Dose, Crimes and The Bronze in the bandroom, while one man blues machine Jungle Jim Smith lays down the boogie in the main bar.
On Saturday 17th headliners Seedy Jeezus are joined by Oceanlord, Matchetez, Hail Freya, Neck of The Vulture, Dissect Me, Pointless Daggers, One Whole Hand, Komune & Palliative with a whole afternoon of solo music in the main bar with Eric Parker, Kar (H-Block), The King G & Jim Coelli, Silvera, Matilda, Max & Sam.
On Sunday afternoon The Graveyard will nurse a birthday sized hangover with acoustic sets in the main bar with Rusty Brown, Erin Kelly, James & Leanne, Dave & Johnny
The Graveyard Bar has quickly become a favourite in Coburg North for its no-nonsense attitude, DIY charm and the kind of crowd that actually cares about live music. Expect a backyard-style setup with plenty of room to soak up the sounds, grab a drink and chat to friendly regulars. It's the sort of spot where you can discover new bands and feel genuinely welcome, whether you're a local or rolling in from further afield. This event is perfect for anyone who loves Melbourne's heavier underground scene and wants to catch a huge lineup in a relaxed, open-air setting. What makes this birthday bash stand out is its mix of local legends and up-and-comers across multiple genres, all packed into one long afternoon. It's a proper music-lovers' party, with that unique northside energy you won't find in the CBD.
