Yarra Roughies Squad Training

The session on SATURDAY 10 OCTOBER will be held at MSAC at 9:30 am. This will be a members-only session. We will coordinate carpooling from Yarra Leisure. Members, please check the club WhatsApp or email club@roughies.com for more information.

There will not be a session at Fitzroy Pool on Saturday 10 October.

We run three sessions a week. Non-members can attend sessions by booking in with a non-member ticket before needing to join the club.

Training is based around preparing for competitions (pool and open water) and covers fitness as well as technique, skills and race specific training. Sessions are also suitable for members wanting to train for fitness and social reasons.

Sessions run for 60 minutes.

Our coach

We are fortunate to have a Swimming Australia Advanced Licence coach. Tracy has many years experience training competitive swimmers and adult swimmers.

Our timetable

• Monday 6.30-7.30pm
• Wednesday 6.30-7.30pm
• Saturday 9.30-10.30am

Am I Good Enough?

Speed doesn’t matter, but fitness does. As long as you can swim 400m of freestyle comfortably, and cover at least 1km when you go to the pool, you’ve got what it takes.

• Pool entry is included in session fee.
• Proof of concession status is required: full time students and concession card holders.
• Registration must be completed prior to session.
