The Smith Street venue will stage up to three live performances from Thursday to Saturday before DJs take over from 9pm.
A burlesque cocktail bar serving $15 drinks and share plates will open at 125 Smith Street, Fitzroy, on 21st August 2026.
Flair will combine late-night dining with live burlesque, cabaret and circus acts. Up to three performances are scheduled each evening from Thursday to Saturday, with two on Sundays.
Corset Entertainment Creative Director Holly Mouat has curated the programme, which includes fire artists, hula hoop acts and other circus performers. A rotating DJ line-up will take over from 9pm.
Owner Rio Olivetti said the venue drew inspiration from European cabaret and Melbourne’s late-night culture.
“I wanted to capture the spectacle and theatre I’ve admired throughout Europe while embracing Melbourne’s creative, slightly grungy spirit,” Olivetti said.
Cocktails and share plates for $15
Every item on the food and drinks menu is priced at $15.
The cocktail list includes the Gold Rush, Yuzu Blush, Byron’s Haven and Three Wishes. Australian and European wines and Champagne will also be available, alongside large-format sharing cocktails and non-alcoholic options.
Head chef Mehmet Akbass has created a European-influenced menu designed for sharing. Dishes include burrata with heirloom tomato, toasted garlic and beetroot, watermelon with feta and togarashi, and zucchini fritta balls with marzano sauce, feta dust and dill.
Four pizzas complete the menu: margherita, prosciutto, four cheese and diavolo.
A custom-built stage framed by arches sits on the ground floor, with high tables positioned around it and the bar at the rear. Upstairs, a balcony overlooks the performances.
The venue also includes an undercover beer garden that seats up to 40 people.
