RAC Arena show features Harley-Davidson and double backflip attempts

Freestyle Kings will return to Perth’s RAC Arena on Saturday, 11 July 2026, for their first show in the city in two years.

The Capture The Crown Live World Tour is headlined by international action sports star Robbie Maddison and brings freestyle motocross and BMX riders back to Perth for a one-night event.

Perth rider Brayden “Muggins” Davies is set to attempt a backflip on a full-sized Harley-Davidson motorcycle in front of his home crowd.

That motorcycle weighs about 260kg, around three times the weight of a standard motocross bike. The extra mass makes it much harder to control in the air.

Fewer than five riders in the world have successfully landed the Harley-Davidson backflip. Australian action sports rider Kain Saul pioneered the trick in 2009.

Davies said the pressure rises in Perth because he will attempt the stunt in front of his hometown crowd on a bike that “isn’t designed to leave the ground, let alone flip through the air”.

Tarj Daly’s double backflip bid

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Tarj Daly will attempt a double backflip in front of a live audience at RAC Arena.

If Daly lands it, he will challenge the record for the youngest rider in the world to complete that trick.

Daly spent the previous six weeks working on the double backflip before the Perth date.

The wider line-up also includes multiple world champions Pat Bowden and Clinton Moore.

Rob Adelberg is also on the bill. Event organisers describe him as Australia’s most decorated X Games rider, and they say he recently won gold in China.

Maddison’s sons will appear as well. Kruz Maddison is 15 and Jagger Maddison is 13.

Organisers are billing the Perth stop as their biggest local production yet, with world-first trick attempts and a packed arena show.
