MELBOURNE — Lithium Royalty Corp (LRC) has announced significant updates to its portfolio, highlighting developments in its lithium projects across the globe. The company confirmed these advancements in a recent statement, emphasizing its strategic growth in the lithium market.

The company completed the acquisition of a royalty on the Goulamina lithium project in Mali, operated by Ganfeng Lithium. According to LRC, they anticipate receiving a substantial payment of approximately US$2.9 million this March, stemming from Q4 2025 activities.

Portfolio Expansion and Market Impact

In Brazil, Sigma Lithium Corporation has resumed mining at its Grota do Cirilo project, as reported by the company on February 2. Sigma disclosed the sale of 150,000 tonnes of lithium fines and announced additional availability of 350,000 tonnes for future transactions. This move enhances Sigma’s financial liquidity, supported by a $96 million working capital facility.

Further, Ganfeng Lithium has marked a milestone by shipping lithium chloride from the Mariana Lithium Project in Argentina for the first time, with expansion plans underway. Meanwhile, Core Lithium in Australia reported the sale of their spodumene concentrate stockpile, projecting significant proceeds in the coming months.

Lithium Royalty Corp is exploring new potential acquisitions and partnerships to further strengthen its presence in the lithium sector. The company is also focusing on sustainability initiatives, aiming to reduce its carbon footprint across its operations worldwide.

The updates from Lithium Royalty Corp arrive amid a growing global demand for lithium, driven by the acceleration of electrification and decarbonization initiatives worldwide. These efforts are expected to support the transition to renewable energy sources and the proliferation of electric vehicles, increasing the strategic importance of lithium as a resource.
