New Platform Aims to Improve Workplace Intelligence
On May 6, 2026, in Cork, Ireland, Workvivo by Zoom announced the launch of Seer, a new standalone platform. This platform is designed to transform employee feedback into actionable insights. Seer builds on Workvivo’s existing Employee Insights capabilities, offering a comprehensive view of employee experiences to help organisations implement meaningful changes.
Many Workvivo customers have already used Seer as part of their Employee Insights, and due to its success, it is now available as a standalone product. The leadership of this initiative is under the guidance of Justin Black, a former head of Glint at Microsoft and LinkedIn. “The industry doesn’t have a listening problem, it has an execution problem,” remarked Black.
Survey Highlights Feedback-Action Gap
According to a new survey commissioned by Workvivo, 62% of employees feel comfortable providing feedback. However, only 49% witness significant changes as a result, and just 42% believe leaders are held accountable for acting on feedback. This survey, called The Listening Gap, involved participation from 4,736 frontline and desk workers around the world.
Seer addresses this issue by enabling continuous and inclusive feedback collection through a mobile-first approach. The execution gap is even more pronounced among frontline workers; only 39% see meaningful change compared to 54% of desk-based workers.
To further its people intelligence strategy, Workvivo has made key hires. Phil Murphy, formerly of Qualtrics, joins as Head of Growth, while Jaime Gonzales, with experience from Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Glint, joins as Principal People Scientist. These appointments showcase Workvivo’s commitment to advancing the people intelligence category.
Seer aims to bridge the gap between feedback and implementation by providing leaders with AI-powered insights and guidance on actionable steps. This fosters a culture of accountability and trust within organisations. By connecting data on how employees work, feel, communicate, and perform, Seer gives leaders a more complete view of their workforce.
Workvivo is taking direct aim at the gap between feedback and action with Seer. The platform is designed to help organisations turn employee feedback into visible outcomes and real change, addressing the lack of accountability and follow-through.
