1 Hotel Melbourne Is Throwing A Puppy Party For International Dog Day

The morning event at 1 Hotel Melbourne will feature puppuccinos, dog-friendly treats, clay paw prints and live pet sketching.

A dog-friendly party featuring treats, portraits and personalised paw prints will take over Crane Terrace at 1 Hotel Melbourne on Saturday 29th August.

Dogs of 1 Club will run from 10am to 11am as part of the hotel’s International Dog Day celebrations. Tickets cost $10, with the full amount donated to Lort Smith Animal Hospital.

Four-legged guests will receive puppuccinos and dog-friendly treats during the event. Their owners will be offered complimentary Cocohit coconut water, while specialty coffee and fresh pastries will be available to purchase from Neighbours Café.

Pet portraits, paw prints and prizes

An onsite illustrator will create custom portraits of attending dogs, while owners can also take home personalised clay impressions of their pets’ paw prints.

A best-dressed competition will be held during the morning, with a prize available for the winning dog. Details of the prize were not specified.

The terrace event will also allow attendees to meet other dog owners and photograph their pets.
