ADELAIDE — The annual Adelaide Memory Walk & Jog, organized by Dementia Australia, took place at Wigley Reserve in Glenelg on Sunday, attracting over 1,000 participants who joined the event to raise awareness and support for those affected by dementia. The event commenced at 7:30 am and saw a large turnout of locals, including families, friends, and carers of individuals impacted by the condition.

According to Dementia Australia, this event is part of a broader initiative to provide support for the more than 446,500 Australians living with dementia and their 1.7 million carers. The organisation also emphasises the importance of advocacy and research in their mission, aiming to enhance the quality of life for those living with dementia.
