Enhanced Interactivity for European Users
Amazfit, a leading global smart wearable brand owned by Zepp Health, has announced the support of iOS Notification Forwarding. This new Beta feature provides eligible iPhone users in the European Union with a more complete notification experience on select Amazfit smartwatches.
Interactive Features and Device Compatibility
With this feature, users can interact with supported notifications directly from their watch. Depending on the notification type, they may reply to messages, perform quick actions like Mark as Read or Call Back, and view images from notifications, such as camera or doorbell alerts.
Initially, iOS Notification Forwarding is available on Amazfit Cheetah 2 Ultra, Balance Ultra, and Balance 3 models. Support for Amazfit Bip Max, Active 3 Premium, Cheetah 2 Pro, T-Rex 3, T-Rex 3 Pro, T-Rex Ultra 2, and Balance 2 is expected to follow.
Eligible users can enable the feature after updating their Zepp App and watch firmware. The setup is accessible via the Zepp App under Device > Notifications > App Notifications. Availability begins on June 30 with a phased rollout.
Amazfit’s parent company, Zepp Health, operates globally, with its principal office in Gorinchem, the Netherlands. Known for creating smart wearables, Zepp Health integrates endurance, strength, and recovery into its products.
