Daniel’s Donuts Launches Eight Savoury Flavours for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

From chicken Caesar to cheese and Vegemite, the new range starts at $5.90, with mix-and-match packs available.

Eight savoury donuts will launch at 26 participating Daniel’s Donuts stores across Victoria and Albury this September, priced at $5.90 each.

Customers can mix and match four for $22 or eight for $42. The range uses the same dough as the bakery’s sweet donuts, with fillings including chicken and coleslaw, bacon and scrambled egg, and cheese with Vegemite.

The Melbourne-born bakery is introducing the menu as it marks 10 years since its first Daniel’s Donuts store opened in Springvale in 2016.

Adam Stapleton, CEO of Daniel’s Group, said: “Ten years ago, we changed what a donut could be. Now we’re doing it again. Savoury Donuts are unexpected, delicious, and very Daniel’s.”

Availability is limited to participating stores. Although the business now has more than 50 locations across Australia and sells its sweet

donuts nationally through 7-Eleven, the savoury range is exclusive to the selected Daniel’s retail outlets.

From bacon and eggs to cheese and Vegemite

Southern Fried Chicken combines chicken, lettuce, coleslaw and chipotle aioli. Pepperoni Pizza contains pepperoni, cheese and Napoli sauce, while Taco Time brings together chicken, corn chips, lettuce, coriander and salsa.

Corned beef, pickle, cheese and Dijonnaise make up the Classic Reuben. Another sandwich combination, Ham, Cheese, Tomato, comes with mayonnaise.

For breakfast, the Brekkie Bite pairs bacon and scrambled egg with tomato relish. Aussie, Aussie is the vegetarian option, containing cheese and Vegemite.

Chicken Caesar completes the eight-donut menu with chicken, Parmesan, bacon, lettuce and Caesar dressing.
