Easter High Tea set for 11th April at Dorsett Melbourne
Dorsett Melbourne will host an Easter High Tea in collaboration with Melbourne-based bakery Sucre Du Jour on Saturday, 11th April. The event will take place at the hotel’s CBD location during the final week of the school holidays.
The experience will feature a curated selection of sweet and savoury items designed around a seasonal Easter theme. In addition, the menu combines Sucre Du Jour’s patisserie approach with Dorsett’s food offering. Guests will attend a 90-minute session scheduled from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
Savoury items on the menu include Pork and Nashi Pear Sausage Rolls, Semi-dried Tomato and Mushroom Quiche Tarts, and Smoked Salmon served with chervil, capers and crème fraîche on rye bread. These selections form part of a broader offering focused on traditional high tea formats.
The sweet selection includes house-made scones served fresh, alongside a range of desserts. These include Mango Marmalade Almond Sponge with passionfruit and oolong mousse, as well as Strawberry and Yuzu Compote layered with vanilla mousse and almond sponge.
In addition, the menu features a Hazelnut Sponge topped with chocolate crèmeux, salted caramel and chocolate mousse. This item forms part of the chocolate-focused offering within the two-tiered high tea stand.
Ticket option introduced for families
A family ticket option has been introduced for the event, covering two adults and two children. This option aligns with the school holiday period and is positioned as a group booking format.

The event is designed to accommodate couples, families and small groups across a single afternoon sitting. Therefore, capacity will be managed across the allocated session time.
Dorsett Melbourne is located within the West Side Place precinct at 615 Little Lonsdale Street. The venue includes multiple dining outlets and hospitality facilities within the hotel environment.
