What's On in Dingley Village

About events in Dingley Village

Dingley Village has a quietly friendly charm that speaks to its roots as a close-knit community on Melbourne’s south-eastern edge. With leafy streets, family homes and local parks, it’s a place where neighbours still greet each other at the shops and weekends are spent at sporting matches or strolling along walking tracks. The village centre offers a handful of cosy cafes, bakeries and family-run restaurants, while the local community centre acts as a hub for activities and get-togethers year-round.

Events here tend to revolve around the things that bring people together: markets, school fetes, art and craft sessions, live music at the local bowls club and junior footy or cricket matches. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, whether you’re new to the area or a lifelong resident. Dingley Village is easy to reach by car via Boundary Road or Centre Dandenong Road, and several bus routes link it with Moorabbin and Dandenong, making it accessible for locals and visitors alike.
