Civics and citizenship in action

Civics and Citizenship in Action is a teacher professional learning workshop that explores active, meaningful and participatory approaches to civics and citizenship education. Through practical workshops, classroom-ready resources and collaborative discussions, participants will investigate ways to engage students in democratic decision-making, critical thinking and real-world problem-solving.

Whether you’re new to teaching civics and citizenship or looking to refresh your practice, this professional learning will provide ideas, strategies and connections to help students see themselves as informed and active members of their communities.
