ELECTRO MERVEILLES : SOUNDS OF LA FRENCH TOUCH
FRANCE'S FIRST ELECTRONIC IMMERSION
Hosted by MERVEILLES PRODUCTIONS / ALLEGRIA
About this event
Melbourne rarely hosts a night that feels this much like a flight to Paris without leaving the Yarra. Electro Merveilles is set to transform South Wharf into a French electronic wonderland, blending music, visual art and a slice of Parisian nightlife for one night only.
The French Touch Immersive Experience
ONLY 1 night.
2,700 sqm of total immersion.
One promise: we’ll teleport you to France.
On 24 October, forget the 22-hour flight.
France is coming to you.
Right in the heart of Melbourne, at the MCEC, Merveilles opens a portal to Paris. Step through it, and suddenly you’re on the other side of the world.
For two nights, lose yourself in 2,700 square metres of immersive worlds, where France unfolds around you in 360°: the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, the rooftops of Paris, elegant French gardens and breathtaking immersive environments.
Monumental video mapping, spectacular lighting installations, immersive scenography and live artistic performances transform every space into a fragment of France brought to life.
You won’t just look at the scenery.
You’ll step inside it. Dance through it. Celebrate within it.
And at the heart of this journey lies the French Touch.
For more than thirty years, French electronic music has shaped dancefloors across the globe, inspiring clubs, festivals and artists alike. From its pioneers to a new generation of visionaries, it has never stopped pushing the boundaries of electronic music.
Merveilles celebrates this legacy by bringing together French and international artists around one shared vision:
to turn electronic music into a journey experienced with every sense.
Melbourne, get ready.
France is landing.
No passport. No jet lag.
Just you, the music… and a little bit of magic.
Welcome to Merveilles.
The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre's outdoor spaces will be buzzing with French electronic beats, dramatic lighting and all the spectacle of a night out in Paris. Locals know the MCEC as a slick, easy-to-reach spot, but it’s not often we see it transformed for a music experience that’s as much about the visuals as the sound. Expect a lively crowd, great riverfront atmosphere and plenty of conversation starters. This is best for anyone curious about the French Touch sound, or those who just want something a bit different to the usual Melbourne club or festival night. The scale and absorbing detail set it apart from most local gigs, making it a genuine standout for anyone chasing something fresh and memorable.
