Get your brain-boxes ready because HARD QUIZ is back in studio! (Southbank, VIC)
Get ready for the return of Australia’s favourite quiz show.
That’s right, Gold-Logie award winner Tom Gleeson is back!
Four contestants, each with their own expert subject, compete against each other in a war of attrition through four bespoke rounds, with the winner being crowned the HARD QUIZ champion – and winning an oversized Big Brass Mug.
There’ll be more bizarre topics, offbeat stories, and everyday experts who aren’t afraid to tell the world about their passion – and tell Tom where to stick it.
Secure your seats to see a live recording of Australia’s favourite quiz!
Conditions of Entry at the event:
- Guests will be subject to bag and security checks
- Guests must be 15 years and over
ABC’s Southbank Centre is a familiar spot for anyone who’s wandered along the river on a weeknight, and there’s always a buzz when a live taping draws a crowd. The atmosphere in the studio is relaxed but charged with anticipation, especially with Tom Gleeson steering the ship-expect plenty of laughs and sharp audience interaction. Locals know the best part is seeing the contestants and crew at work, and feeling the energy that just doesn’t come through the screen. This suits anyone who loves a bit of live theatre, pub trivia fans, or those curious about TV production. Unlike most ticketed events, it’s free, and you get a genuine, unscripted peek at how a quiz show is built. It’s a step up from the usual midweek plans, and a great way to see a Melbourne institution in action.
