Monthly Flower Club sessions run from September to October 2026
Fig & Bloom will run its monthly Flower Club Workshop in Melbourne on 3 September 2026, 1 October 2026 and 29 October 2026, with Sydney sessions scheduled for 17 September 2026 and 13 October 2026.
The evening events take place in Sydney and Melbourne. Attendees create a floral arrangement with guidance from a professional florist, and no prior experience is required.
Tickets cost $179. Guests who have spent $100 or more with Fig & Bloom in the past 30 days can attend free.
Each session centres on one long table, wine and market-fresh stems. Fig & Bloom supplies the flowers, tools, technique and the florist leading the workshop.
Kellie, co-founder of Fig & Bloom, said: “You don’t need experience, just one free evening.”
According to Fig & Bloom, the format is built around connection rather than formal instruction. Guests gather around a shared table and make an arrangement while learning techniques side by side.
Melbourne and Sydney dates confirmed
Melbourne has three dates across September and October, while Sydney has two. The business says the monthly evening workshops have been selling out.
Unlike a standard floristry class, the sessions are pitched as low-pressure and screen-free. Fig & Bloom links that approach to demand for social activities outside dating apps and usual nights out.
More broadly, the company places the workshops within the rise of “third places”, meaning social settings outside home and work. It also connects the event to growing interest in hands-on hobbies.
Guests leave with a finished arrangement, a new skill and new contacts from the table, Fig & Bloom says. The company has previously been featured in frankie, body+soul and WHO.
Kellie said: “We bring the stems, the tools, the technique, and a florist beside you the whole way.” Fig & Bloom did not give venue addresses, session start times or ticket numbers for each date.
