Japan event highlighted system-level project design before Melbourne
GBP took part in PV EXPO Autumn 2026 in Japan from 9 to 11 September, where it presented products and solutions for solar power plants, energy storage projects and data centre infrastructure.
Across the three-day exhibition, the company used its booth to show more than stand-alone products. It brought together equipment, electrical infrastructure and system-level displays to show how different components can support more complex energy projects.
A physical infrastructure model formed part of the display. GBP used it to illustrate how equipment, electrical connections and facility-level design fit into broader project configurations.
The company also presented cables and electrical equipment for solar power plants and energy storage applications. Those displays sat alongside solutions linked to wider electrical infrastructure and data centre infrastructure.
Project requirements discussed in Japan
Discussions at the booth focused on practical project needs rather than product promotion alone. Industry professionals raised equipment specifications, installation methods, compatibility and site conditions.
GBP also used the event to discuss project development, equipment selection and implementation with visitors. Those talks centred on the practical requirements behind building and operating solar and energy storage projects.
According to GBP, the event gave it a chance to exchange views with professionals working in the Japanese market. Those exchanges covered challenges affecting solar, energy storage and infrastructure projects.
The booth theme focused on supporting customers across multiple parts of a project, not only on individual components in isolation. That system-level approach aimed to show how separate pieces of equipment can work together inside a wider facility design.
Meanwhile, the exhibition served as part of GBP’s wider international schedule. After PV EXPO Autumn 2026, the company plans to continue that activity at All-Energy Australia in Melbourne.
