Tasmanian Whisky Brand Expands Globally

HOBART — LARK Distillery has announced the release of a new whisky collection, aiming to elevate its presence in the luxury whisky market. Unveiled today, on the eve of International Whisky Day, the collection features four distinct expressions, according to the company.

These new whiskies emphasise the unique qualities of their Tasmanian origins. The distillery’s announcement highlighted a redesigned 700ml bottle, which has already received the World’s Best Design award at the World Whisky Awards 2026 Global Dinner.

Details of the New Whisky Collection

The collection includes Fire Trail, Devil’s Storm, Ruby Abyss, and the upcoming Cinder Forest. Prices range from $160 to $400, with availability through LARK’s website and venues in Hobart. A statement from LARK confirmed plans to distribute these whiskies to premium bars, select retailers, and international markets throughout 2026.

The launch comes as the global demand for premium spirits continues to rise, with more consumers seeking unique and authentic experiences. According to Nicole Craig, Publicity & Media Liaison Director, the collection is a tribute to Tasmania’s wild and elemental landscape. Jamie Andreev, Senior Communications Manager, emphasised the brand’s ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence.

LARK Distillery‘s commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness is embedded in the production process, using locally sourced ingredients and eco-friendly practices. This dedication not only supports the local economy but also preserves the natural beauty of Tasmania, ensuring that future generations can enjoy its pristine landscapes.
