The two-storey venue at 123 Church Street will offer a limited five-class introductory package for $45.

The Church Street studio will have 15 reformers and a 29-mat infrared room, with Pilates, strength and yoga classes running seven days a week.

Love Athletica is taking over the former JAGGAD building at 123 Church Street. Across two floors, the studio will house a 15-bed reformer space and a separate infrared-heated room accommodating 29 mats.

Classes will run seven days a week. The timetable includes Athletic Reformer, Hot Mat Pilates, Hot Functional Strength, Hot Flow Yoga and Warm Yin Yoga.

The presale brings the price to $9 a class. Regular class prices were not specified.

Love Athletica co-founder Caroline Knipe said: “Brighton has been on our radar for a long time, so it feels incredibly special to finally have an opening date locked in.”

Bayside trainers Kaz Wilson and Steph Freeland-Small will join the founding team. Emma Jones, Head of Strength and Conditioning for Hawthorn Football Club’s AFLW team, has signed on as a Brighton ambassador.

Opening weekend and studio facilities

Opening weekend will include drinks, snacks and spot prizes from Lululemon, The Upside and Blitz Bar.

During the first month, members who buy an açai bowl at Blitz Bar Brighton will receive a complimentary coffee. Bakehouse by Vic is also creating a limited-edition Love Athletica cookie for launch week.

Inside the studio, facilities include showers, vanity areas, towels, lockers and filtered water stations. Complimentary hot or iced tea will be available after classes.

Love Athletica Brighton opens on Saturday 10th October 2026 at 123 Church Street, Brighton.
