The Cookie Box opens its new Bourke Street store on 8th July with free cookies, golden prizes and CBD-only flavours
More than 1,050 free cookies will be available when The Cookie Box opens its new Bourke Street store this week.
The Melbourne cookie brand will open at Shop E1A, 111 Bourke Street on Wednesday, 8th July 2026, marking its fifth Melbourne store and second CBD location.

The first 150 customers through the doors on opening day will receive a free Classic Cookie.
From Thursday, 9th July to Saturday, 11th July, a further 150 golden cookies will be hidden inside customer orders, with 50 released each day. Each golden cookie can be redeemed for a complimentary box of six cookies.
No forms or codes are required. Winners will be selected at random through The Cookie Box’s point-of-sale system.
New flavours for Bourke Street
The Bourke Street store will also introduce three cookie flavours exclusive to the CBD location.
The Almond Croissant cookie is based on the French breakfast pastry, while Lemon Pie brings a citrus flavour to the menu. Brownie Caramel Walnut uses dark chocolate and caramelised walnuts.

The menu draws on owner Nico D’Anna’s French culinary training, with the brand using Callebaut Belgian chocolate, St David cultured butter and precision-milled Australian flour. Its dough is matured for a minimum of 48 hours before baking.
“There are millions of cookies in the world, but only a handful that people genuinely remember. That’s been our obsession from day one. Five stores in, we wanted to mark the milestone the only way we know how: by hiding gold,” Nico D’Anna, owner of The Cookie Box, said.
The new store is also the first Cookie Box location to introduce a dedicated drinks menu, with Cold Brew, Iced Coffee, Iced Chai and Hot Chocolate available.

The Bourke Street venue joins existing stores in Little Collins Street, Windsor, Hawthorn and Fitzroy. It will feature the brand’s blacked-out finishes, moody interiors and neon signage.
The Cookie Box’s new store is at Shop E1A, 111 Bourke Street, Melbourne. It will trade Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturday from 11am to 5pm.
