Schneider Electric, a leader in energy technology, announced promising early results for the first quarter of 2026 under its new sustainability roadmap, Impact 2030. The roadmap aims to advance the company's sustainability initiatives globally.

The company reported a 3.40/10 Impact score, indicating significant progress towards its 2026 target of 4.20/10. This score reflects advancements in Schneider Electric’s operations and contributions to customer and community projects.

Schneider Electric reduced its Scopes 1 and 2 CO2 emissions by 82.5% compared to 2017. In the first quarter, it helped customers save or electrify 47.5 million MWh of energy, resulting in 20 million tonnes of CO2 emissions being saved and avoided.

Strategic Pillars and Community Impact

Electrifying the world, reinventing industries, unlocking human potential, and empowering local communities remain central to Schneider Electric's strategy. As part of its Future-designed framework, 14% of major offers are now demonstrating circular and environmental excellence.

More than 1,100 suppliers have begun participating in the Zero Carbon Pathway initiative, receiving training to support their decarbonisation efforts. Meanwhile, over 2.8 million people gained access to sustainable electricity through community solutions.

Esther Finidori, Chief Sustainability Officer at Schneider Electric, stated, "Impact 2030 provides a framework to drive broad, systemic transformation – bringing everyone along."

Schneider Electric also upskilled 113,000 individuals in energy-related technical skills during the quarter. Since 2009, over 1.2 million people have received training from Schneider Electric.

The company continued to deploy its Future-designed framework in the first quarter, with 14% of major offers in the design phase already demonstrating circular and environmental excellence.

Across its supply chain, Schneider Electric accelerated the roll-out of the Zero Carbon Pathway initiative, building on its long-standing approach to engaging suppliers. Onboarding is underway for more than 1,100 suppliers in Q1, many of whom have already participated in training sessions providing them practical tools, guidance, and know-how to advance their decarbonisation efforts.
