Multi-Language Support and Real-Time Audio Injection

TestMu AI, previously known as LambdaTest, has unveiled significant upgrades to its Real Device Cloud, focusing on multi-language Playwright automation and advanced audio testing for iOS devices. These updates meet the increasing demand for testing modern, multimodal applications involving voice, audio, and real-time interactions.

As of October 2023, Playwright automation is now supported across Java, Python, and C#. This offers enterprise teams more flexibility, allowing them to integrate testing seamlessly into their preferred programming language ecosystems beyond just JavaScript.

TestMu AI has also introduced Audio Injection and Live Audio Input capabilities for iOS and Android devices. These advancements allow teams to simulate and validate microphone-based interactions, essential for applications like KYC voice verification, speech-to-text systems, and in-app audio recording.

“Applications today are no longer just visual; they are interactive, voice-enabled, and context-driven,” said Mudit Singh, Co-Founder and Head of Growth at TestMu AI. “Testing these experiences requires infrastructure that can replicate real-world conditions.”

Enhanced Testing Capabilities

Expanded Playwright automation now enables tests to run on real mobile devices using Java, Python, and C#, ensuring accurate validation of real-world scenarios. This development supports enterprise teams by eliminating the limitations of JavaScript-only workflows.

The platform introduces audio injection capabilities, allowing testers to use pre-recorded inputs and live audio streaming. This facilitates consistent and dynamic testing of audio-driven user journeys, crucial for applications involving virtual assistants and other voice-based interactions.

Audio injection for iOS and Android devices makes it possible to automate testing for use cases such as conferencing workflows and audio-driven user journeys. Testers can inject pre-recorded audio or stream live input into devices, enhancing the test execution process.

According to TestMu AI, the integration of real device testing into existing automation pipelines improves coverage and reliability across mobile environments. These enhancements further strengthen TestMu AI’s Real Device Cloud platform, enabling comprehensive testing of complex, real-world user experiences.
