TotalFusion Melbourne launches integrated wellness hub at LIV Aston Flinders Street
TotalFusion has opened its Melbourne flagship at the LIV Aston precinct off Flinders Street, marking its first expansion into Victoria. The new facility forms part of Mirvac’s build-to-rent development and introduces an integrated wellness offering within the inner city.
The multi-level site combines fitness, recovery and lifestyle amenities in a single destination. It includes a premium gym floor, boutique group fitness studios and a range of recovery services such as cryotherapy, infrared saunas and magnesium plunge pools.
In addition, the facility incorporates red light therapy and other science-led recovery options designed to support performance and longevity. These features are positioned alongside coworking areas, member lounges and food and beverage services within the same space.
The development has been designed for both LIV Aston residents and TotalFusion members. As a result, the offering blends fitness, wellness and workspaces within a single environment focused on daily use.
TotalFusion Founder and Managing Director Leon McNiece said the Melbourne opening represents a significant step for the brand. “Melbourne is a city that shaped so much of who we are. To now bring TotalFusion to life here, and to create a space that elevates how people train, recover, work and connect, is incredibly meaningful,” he said.
He added that the concept reflects broader changes in how consumers approach health. “We’re seeing a major shift in how people approach their health – it’s no longer just about fitness, but about longevity, recovery and overall quality of life. TotalFusion Flinders Street has been designed to support that evolution.”
Mirvac General Manager Portfolio Management Alison Flemming said the partnership responds to increasing demand for wellbeing-focused living environments. “At LIV, we believe renting should be about more than just a home – it’s about balance and belonging. Our residents have told us that wellbeing and community are more important than ever, and by partnering with TotalFusion, we can bring world-class health and lifestyle facilities into the heart of Melbourne, for our residents but also the wider community,” Ms Flemming said.
She also referenced earlier collaboration between the two organisations. “We first experienced the industry-leading TotalFusion offering as our neighbour during the LIV Anura development in Brisbane and realised the possible synergies of a bigger partnership to bring TotalFusion to Melbourne.”

Facility integrates fitness, recovery and lifestyle services
The Melbourne site expands TotalFusion’s existing presence in Queensland into a new market. Furthermore, it aligns with the broader demand for experience-led wellness spaces within urban developments.
The inclusion of allied health and wellness services alongside fitness and recovery positions the facility as a combined lifestyle destination. This model integrates health, productivity and social interaction within a single location.
The LIV Aston partnership also reflects ongoing development trends within build-to-rent communities. These projects increasingly incorporate shared amenities designed to support resident well-being and community engagement.
Together, the collaboration introduces a new model for integrated wellness within Melbourne’s central precincts, combining residential living with access to structured fitness and recovery services.
