AGAE Expands AI Optical Network Platform
All In FutureTech Alliance Inc. (AGAE) announced the acquisition of a 57.67% controlling interest in HyalRoute Fibre-Optic Communication Group, valued at USD 2.3068 billion through share issuance.
The acquisition, announced on May 22, 2026, positions AGAE as a major player in global AI optical network infrastructure. The transaction is set at USD 10.00 per share, aligning with a total valuation of USD 4.0 billion for HyalRoute.
HyalRoute, a leader in Southeast Asian fibre-optic infrastructure, owns a network of approximately 85,000 kilometers, including significant assets in the Philippines and Cambodia. This infrastructure supports cross-border transmission within ASEAN regions.
Strategic Importance of HyalRoute
HyalRoute’s assets include a 1,700 Gbps capacity in the AAE-1 submarine cable system, connecting Asia, Africa, and Europe. This acquisition enhances AGAE’s strategic capabilities in AI computing and global data transmission.
According to James Li, AIFA Chairman and CEO, “This transaction represents the most important milestone in AIFA’s strategic transformation. HyalRoute’s fibre-optic networks and cross-border capabilities are highly complementary to our self-developed AIFA silicon photonics compute and storage centre.”
The acquisition also includes HyalRoute’s development of a compute centre in ASEAN, utilising cutting-edge silicon photonics co-packaged optics. This centre is designed to support advanced AI model training with significant compute capacity.
The deal reflects investor confidence in AGAE’s strategic direction as it integrates AI infrastructure with HyalRoute’s existing network. The phased share payment and asset delivery system are designed to protect AGAE’s interests.
AGAE, previously known as Allied Gaming & Entertainment Inc, has shifted its focus to AI digital infrastructure, aiming to create a comprehensive ecosystem of AI compute capacity and fibre-optic networks.
HyalRoute holds a 35-year telecommunications operating licence in Cambodia, where it owns approximately 23,000 kilometers of fibre-optic network, achieving full coverage across all 25 provinces and municipalities.
In other ASEAN countries such as Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand, HyalRoute has developed approximately 26,000 kilometers of fibre-optic backbone networks. This infrastructure facilitates cross-border transmission scheduling via interconnection nodes in Singapore and Malaysia.
As an official consortium member of the AAE-1 submarine cable system, HyalRoute Group owns resources that span Asia, Africa, and Europe, providing substantial data transmission capabilities.
