Priti Narayan takes CFO and COO role as William Mackay becomes chief

Allygroup has elevated Robert Brigden to joint chief executive officer alongside founder Joanne Rees, as the specialist workforce solutions firm expands legal and consulting services across Commonwealth and State Government service panels.

The changes appeared in an announcement dated 3 July 2026. They also include Priti Narayan as chief financial officer and chief operating officer, plus William Mackay as chief growth officer.

Brigden joined Allygroup in mid-2025. He also serves as chief legal officer and brings almost two decades of experience as an employment lawyer, workplace relations adviser and litigator.

His career includes private practice and senior in-house legal and executive roles at Commonwealth agencies, including the Australian Federal Police and Airservices Australia.

Department of Parliamentary Services

At the Department of Parliamentary Services, Brigden acted as First Assistant Secretary. There, he oversaw legal, human resources, audit and governance functions.

According to Allygroup, the new structure supports its next phase of growth. The firm pointed to rising demand for specialist legal, workforce, governance and consulting services across government and regulated sectors.

Meanwhile, Mackay moved into the chief growth officer role after building stakeholder partnerships across government, industry and the broader professional services sector.

In recent years, Mackay helped strengthen client relationships and the business development pipeline, according to the 3 July 2026 release.

Narayan has commenced in the dual roles of chief financial officer and chief operating officer. She brings accounting and financial leadership experience, including work with government agencies.

Her background also covers governance, operational performance and organisational growth. Allygroup expects her appointment to support expansion and long-term strategic objectives.

Joanne Rees and Bruce Clarke

Founders Joanne Rees, who remains joint CEO, and chairman Bruce Clarke described the strengthened executive team as part of Allygroup’s investment in leadership capability, client service and sustainable growth.

“These appointments bring together outstanding expertise across legal services, finance and business growth,” Rees and Clarke said.

They also pointed to growing demand across government and corporate sectors for specialist services that offer value for money. As a result, Allygroup is investing in leadership, capability and partnerships to serve clients.
