Key Areas of Focus in 2025

Coeur Mining, Inc. has unveiled its 2025 Responsibility Report, showcasing its commitments to responsible mining practices and progress in environmental and community initiatives. The report outlines how Coeur integrates sustainability considerations into operational decision-making to support long-term value creation for stakeholders.

In 2025, Coeur formalized enterprise-wide water stewardship goals focusing on resilience and efficiency. At the Las Chispas site, the company continued implementing a multi-year water stewardship program, investing over $1 million since 2021 to enhance local water infrastructure and community water security.

Coeur achieved its lowest lost-time incident severity rate in the company's history by focusing on risk management and proactive hazard identification. This achievement helped Coeur maintain its status as a leader in safety incident rates, according to the U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration.

The company reported significant progress in tailings management. By the end of 2025, approximately 73% of the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management had been implemented across applicable sites, a substantial increase from 30% at the end of 2024.

Environmental and Social Initiatives

Coeur's report highlighted a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity, supported by improved production efficiency and the increased use of renewable electricity, which accounted for 43% of its purchased electricity in 2025. This achievement surpassed the company's three-year reduction goal set at the end of 2024.

The company continued implementing its Biodiversity Management Standard, completing a nature-related risk assessment at the Wharf site following a pilot at Kensington in 2024. Reclamation and land stewardship activities were also advanced across various sites.

Coeur invested approximately $1.8 million in community initiatives in 2025, enhancing education, workforce development, infrastructure, and health programs. The company also strengthened partnerships with Indigenous communities through continued engagement, agreements, and scholarship programs.

Strong governance practices were maintained, with responsibility metrics integrated into executive compensation. Coeur achieved an ISS Governance QualityScore of 1, placing it in the industry's top decile.

Mitchell J. Krebs, Coeur's Chairman, President, and CEO, stated, "Through our ongoing progress across safety, environmental stewardship, community and Indigenous engagement, and governance, we are reinforcing our foundation for responsible mining."
