New Projects and Alliances Announced

On June 12, 2026, the 7th Cross-Strait Financial Forum and Taiwan-Funded Enterprise Development Forum occurred in Xiamen, China. Enhancing financial cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan was a key focus, with themes like cross-strait financial integration and expanded financing options for Taiwan-funded enterprises highlighted.

Multiple entities jointly organised the forum, including the Fujian Provincial Financial Regulatory Administration, the Xiamen Municipal Financial Regulatory Administration, and the Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland. Key discussions revolved around industrial transformation, financial innovation, and new financing channels.

Part of the broader 18th Cross-Strait Forum, the event supports Fujian’s development as a premier choice for Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan-funded enterprises on the mainland. Nine financial integration projects were signed during the event, valued at RMB 9.1 billion. These projects span areas such as cross-strait industrial cooperation, water supply security, technology, innovation industries, and modern agriculture.
