Five sessions will run across Romsey,

, Woodend, Ascot Vale and Werribee

Greater Western Water will run Customer Care Days through July 2026 across the Macedon Ranges, Melbourne, Moonee Valley and Wyndham local government areas. The five sessions will give GWW customers face-to-face help close to home.

GWW reported a 90% satisfaction rating for the programme. Customers can speak with specialists about billing enquiries, payment plans, grants, concessions and other account matters.

Acting General Manager Customer Experience Janet Condy said the 90% result showed the value of local, in-person support. “Our customers have told us they appreciate having the opportunity to sit down with our team, discuss their concerns in person and receive immediate support and answers to their questions,” Ms Condy said.

In a second comment, Janet Condy said customers valued the personal service and quick outcomes. “We’ve heard from customers who felt at ease speaking with our staff, valued the personalised service they received and welcomed the opportunity to resolve issues quickly through face-to-face conversations,” she said.

She added that GWW will keep taking the programme into local communities. “That’s why we’re continuing to bring Customer Care Days to communities across the Greater Western Water region, making it easier for people to access support close to home,” Ms Condy said.

July session dates

Romsey will host the first session on Thursday 2 July at Romsey Hub from 11am to 3pm. Melbourne will follow on Wednesday 8 July at Melbourne City Library from 10am to 2pm.

Woodend Community Centre and Library will host the next stop on Monday 13 July from 11am to 3pm. Ascot Vale Library will then host a session on Tuesday 21 July from 11am to 3pm.

Werribee will host the final July event on Thursday 23 July at Wyndham Community and Education Centre from 11am to 3pm. Customers are encouraged to book a time slot, although walk-ins are welcome.

Phone-based translation services are also available for GWW customers. As a result, language should not block access to billing help, payment plans, grants or concessions.

Greater Western Water is a Victorian Government water corporation. It provides water, recycled water, sewerage and trade waste services across 3,700 square kilometres stretching from central Melbourne to the west.
