The Emerson’s rooftop is a regular haunt for South Yarra’s day party crowd: think open air, skyline views, and an atmosphere that feels more like a big house party than a club night. The mix of Drake’s entire catalogue blasting for hours, plus the usual stylish crowd, makes it a unique way to soak up the start of Melbourne’s summer party season. This one’s for anyone who knows their Take Care from their Scorpion, and loves a dancefloor that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Unlike other tribute nights, it’s a dedicated Drake marathon with themed fun and a daytime twist, so you can go hard and still make brunch the next day.

Insider tip

Dress smart-The Emerson enforces a dress code, so leave the runners at home.
