Smart Pods Tailored for U.S. and Canada
Framery is set to introduce its new Gradus line, a series of smart office pods designed specifically for the U.S. and Canadian markets. This innovative line will make its official debut at NeoCon on 8th June.
Designed to cater to the increasing demand for flexible office solutions in North America, the Gradus line comprises three models: Gradus Focus™, Gradus Work™, and Gradus Huddle™. The pods are assembled at Framery’s new factory in the U.S., a strategic move to meet regional demand efficiently.n
Samu Hällfors, CEO of Framery, emphasised, “Gradus is purpose-built to meet the high volume and unique demands of the American and Canadian workplace.” The Gradus line is defined by a plug-and-play interior designed for instant user integration.n
Features and Specificationsn
Equipped with a modular design, the Gradus line offers replaceable components, which facilitate easy maintenance and updates. Each pod includes automated ventilation, lighting, and advanced soundproofing. The pods also feature automated systems, including occupancy sensors that collect anonymized usage data.n
A snap-on system for exterior panels allows customization with wood veneers, fabrics, or acoustic panels, addressing diverse architectural needs. This design flexibility ensures that the pods can blend into any office environment or stand out as a focal point.n
Hällfors noted, “Designers and customers in the U.S. and Canada want spaces that feel like their own, and this flexibility makes Gradus a perfect fit for any office.” The Gradus line offers a lower cost per square foot compared to traditional construction, making it a cost-effective solution.n
Framery’s new U.S. factory will assemble the Gradus line, aligning with the company’s strategy to meet local demand. Meanwhile, the Tampere factory in Finland continues to supply essential technology and sub-assemblies. According to Framery, the product line complies with local standards like IBC, IFC, and UL 962, ensuring seamless regional adoption.n
After its NeoCon launch, the Gradus line will be available for purchase, offering businesses a fresh option to enhance their office environments. The pods also include third-party verified EPDs to support corporate carbon accounting, making them an environmentally responsible choice.n
Framery states that the Gradus line combines data-driven workspace optimization with a smooth user experience. It is designed as a strategic tool to right-size office space needs, reducing real estate waste and enhancing productivity.
