New Features Enhance Security Training
Hack The Box (HTB), a leader in AI cybersecurity readiness, announced on 23rd June 2026 the expansion of its cyber readiness platform. The platform now includes enhancements in defensive security, crisis control, and workforce intelligence.
The expanded capabilities help security leaders measure readiness, identify skill gaps, and improve organizational resilience. HTB combines hands-on SOC training, crisis simulations, AI-augmented learning, and workforce intelligence into a comprehensive platform.
“Cybersecurity teams can no longer afford to think in silos,” stated Dawn-Marie Vaughan, Global Offering Lead at DXC. The emphasis is on comprehensive skill sets that cover a broad spectrum.
Platform Enhancements and Training
HTB’s integration of Let’s Defend and introduction of SOC Range offer a realistic training environment. Analysts can gain experience before responding to live incidents. HTB Academy now offers over 230 defensive security courses, significantly expanding its curriculum.
According to Haris Pylarinos, Founder and CEO of Hack The Box, security leaders require a clear view of their organisation’s cyber capabilities and where critical gaps remain.
Features like SOC Range, Crisis Control, and HTB Coach help organisations build analyst readiness and simulate crisis responses. AI assistance accelerates skill development. A new Detection Engineering learning path is set to launch this month.
HTB has achieved Department of Defence Cyber Workforce Framework approval for its Defence Operations Analyst certificate. The company continues to expand its certification programmes and grow its global community, which now includes over 4.3 million cybersecurity professionals.
The acquisition of Let’s Defend has allowed HTB to expand its training capabilities, improving collaboration across security teams. Incident response and crisis preparedness have been strengthened, reflecting an industry shift toward collaborative, cross-functional security models.
HTB’s Cybersecurity Workforce Intelligence Report, released in May, indicates that organisations are moving beyond traditional red-versus-blue silos. As AI changes cybersecurity roles, the demand for advanced skills increases, forcing CISOs to rethink workforce planning.
