Orders tripled as deliveries topped full-year 2025 total
Hino’s heavy-duty 700 Series set a new record in the first six months of 2026, with orders and deliveries both surpassing the full-year totals for 2025.
Across January to June 2026, orders were triple the level recorded in the same period of 2025. Deliveries in those six months also moved beyond all of 2025.
Richard Emery, President and CEO of Hino Australia, linked the result to rising demand across several sectors. He highlighted general freight, refrigerated transport, construction, waste management, traffic management and civil works.
Emery said: “Deliveries to customers in the first six months of 2026 have already surpassed the total number of deliveries across the whole of 2025, setting a new 700 Series record.”
According to Hino Australia, the growth reflects confidence in the expanded 700 Series range and its fit for varied heavy-duty work in Australia.
31 models and four transmissions
Euro 6 emissions compliance is standard across the 700 Series. Hino also lists advanced safety technology, reliability and operating efficiency among the range’s core features.
Buyers can choose four transmissions: the new Hino M112 12-speed automated manual transmission, the Allison 3200 six-speed true automatic, the Allison 4400 six-speed true automatic, and the ZF TraXon TX 2441TO 16-speed AMT.
In the ZF TraXon TX 2441TO, Hino includes an integrated intarder. That option sits alongside either the A09C engine or the E13C engine.
As a result, the expanded 700 Series line-up now spans 31 models. Hino says the wider driveline and axle configuration range gives operators more ways to match a truck to specific jobs.
Emery said: “Customer demand continues to strengthen with orders in the first six months of 2026 are already triple that of the same time last year.”
Interest has come from operators handling freight, refrigerated loads, construction tasks, waste collection, traffic management and civil works.
