Connecting Markets with Creative Industries

The HKTDC Lifestyle Fairs aim to spotlight Hong Kong’s creative industries with seven major events. These fairs, including the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair and Home InStyle, will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 27th to 30th April.

These events connect Hong Kong‘s creative industries with Mainland China and global markets, reinforcing the city’s position as a regional creative hub. A variety of innovative products will be displayed, ranging from houseware materials to advanced fashion designs.

The Gifts & Premium Fair will highlight the Shanxi Pavilion and an expanded Zhejiang Pavilion, showcasing leading design brands worldwide. Smart Design Global will present its shortlisted entries, promoting Hong Kong’s original designs internationally.

Innovative Trends and Technology

The Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion at Home InStyle will feature novel home solutions aimed at the silver market. This initiative is supported by the HKSAR Government’s Innovation and Technology Commission.

Fashion InStyle returns with NEXT@Fashion InStyle, spotlighting emerging Hong Kong designers. The Philippines is this year’s Featured Partner, demonstrating the impact of next-gen materials in the fashion industry.

The Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair will focus on smart and sustainable packaging solutions. Meanwhile, DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong emphasises premium solutions for luxury items.

The fairs will include various thematic seminars, buyer forums, and fashion parades. These events cover topics like cultural creative design and sustainability, highlighting Hong Kong’s key role in advancing creative industries.

DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong will also feature dedicated themes for industries seeking premium printing solutions. These fairs cater to the growing demand for innovation and sustainability.

Project Consultant Han Chong will guide Fashion InStyle’s spotlight zone, sponsored by the CCIDA of the HKSAR Government. This zone will present cross-disciplinary projects by Hong Kong designers, showcasing industry transformation.

The Asian Licensing Conference, running from 27th to 29th April at the HKCEC, will be part of the broader event lineup. It will offer insights into licensing trends and opportunities in Asia and beyond.

The Hong Kong International Licensing Show will also occur concurrently, providing a platform for licensors and licensees to explore new business collaborations. These events further solidify Hong Kong as a hub for creative industries.
