Half-day House of Representatives programme costs $350

Registration is closing soon for How the House Works, a half-day seminar focused on the Australian House of Representatives.

Senior officers from the Department of the House of Representatives will lead the programme on Wednesday 29 July 2026. It will run from 9.15 am to 12.45 pm.

Participants can attend at Parliament House in Canberra or join online via Webex. Tickets cost $350.00 AUD, including GST, for both formats.

According to the event details, the seminar is aimed at professionals who want to strengthen their understanding of the House of Representatives and its role.

It also promises to build knowledge of members, committees and the Australian legislative process. That makes it a targeted training session rather than a general public tour.
