MELBOURNE — La Trobe University has made significant gains in the 2026 QS World University Rankings by Subject, with three of its programmes now positioned in the global top 50. Sports-related subjects, nursing, and archaeology have all achieved remarkable placements, highlighting the university’s commitment to excellence in education and research.
The sports-related subjects at La Trobe have surged to 29th globally, climbing 18 places from previous rankings. Nursing has maintained its strong position at 42nd, marking its third consecutive year in the top 50.
