Easter Festa at Essendon Fields raises funds on 3rd April 2026
LaManna will host an Easter Festa on Friday 3rd April 2026 to raise funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal. The event will take place at its Essendon Fields location. It will also include the sale of limited-edition Bueno Lamington Bites.
Proceeds from ticket sales and product purchases will go directly to the appeal. The event will include Easter egg hunts and a jumping castle. It will also feature a mechanical bull, face painting and balloon twisting. Product tastings will run throughout the day.
Tickets cost $35 per person and must be booked in advance through LaManna’s website. Each child will receive an Easter basket with treats and prizes. Raffles will also take place during the event. However, the store will not open for standard retail trade on the public holiday.
LaManna CEO Patrick LaManna said the initiative reflects a strong personal connection to the hospital. “We are forever grateful to the Royal Children’s Hospital for the care and attention they showed our little girl when she was sick as a baby, who is now seven and thriving thanks to their incredible team,” he said.
He said the campaign continues a long-running fundraising effort. “For the past 15 years, we have raised over $400,000 for the Good Friday Appeal at LaManna by creating a new product specifically for the campaign each year.”
Fundraising target and product details
This year’s campaign includes a $75,000 fundraising target. It is supported by the release of Bueno Lamington Bites. The product features a sponge with dark and white chocolate ganache. It also includes a Bueno-style filling and coconut coating.
Patrick LaManna said, “This year we’ve launched our Bueno Lamington Bites and 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Appeal for every pack sold between now and Good Friday.”
He also highlighted the role of community support. “We’ve set a fundraising target of $75,000 this year and are excited to see our community rally behind such a meaningful cause once again.”
The event forms part of broader Good Friday Appeal activities across Victoria. These initiatives raise funds for paediatric care, research and equipment.
