The 2026 Global Home Carnival, hosted by Louvre Furnishings Group, is currently taking place in Foshan, China. This significant event blends international trade, cultural exchange, and consumer promotions in a comprehensive 21-day festival.
Occurring alongside the Canton Fair and extending through the May Day holiday, the carnival aims to draw in global buyers and boost seasonal consumption with a variety of promotional activities. These include prize draws, shopping discounts, rebates, and product giveaways designed to enhance consumer engagement.
Louvre Furnishings Group, with over 26 years of experience in the home furnishings industry, attracts more than 4 million visitors annually from over 155 countries and regions. The carnival features 22 themed exhibition halls, welcoming delegations and digital creators from approximately 20 countries, showcasing a diverse range of global designs and cultural elements.
Cultural Events and International Engagement
Positioned as an extension of the Canton Fair ecosystem, the venue provides a structured service framework that includes curated brands, selected materials, environmental commitment, quality assurance, transparent pricing, and nationwide delivery. This setup is designed to support efficient and reliable sourcing.
On April 21, nearly 400 international guests gathered at the ‘Foshan Wonder Night’ event at the Louvre International Furniture Exhibition Center. Guests enjoyed performances and cultural showcases that highlighted a blend of global design and local elements.
During the May Day holiday from May 1 to May 5, the festival reaches its peak phase. Beyond retail, the event integrates tourism, art, and dining. Visitors can enjoy Yingge dance performances daily from May 1 to May 3, alongside art exhibitions and a variety of international dining options.
The Louvre complex, recognised as a national AAAA-level tourist destination, continues to expand its role beyond retail. It connects international trade with cultural experiences and has also been featured on China Central Television (CCTV), highlighting its focus on quality and global engagement.
