The free, self-guided Yarra Valley Open Studios programme returns across two weekends, alongside a month-long exhibition at The Memo Healesville.
Twenty-eight Yarra Valley artists will invite the public into their working studios across two weekends in October 2026.
Now in its 18th year, Yarra Valley Open Studios will run on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October, followed by a second weekend on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October. Studios will open from 10am to 5pm each day.

Entry is free, with visitors able to plan their own route through studios in Badger Creek, Chum Creek, Dixons Creek, Don Valley, Healesville, Launching Place, Millgrove, Mount Evelyn, Silvan, Warburton, Yarra Glen and Yarra Junction.
Inside, visitors can meet artists, watch them work and purchase original pieces directly from their studios. The 2026 programme includes painting, ceramics, photography, printmaking, jewellery, metal sculpture, fibre art, eco printing, drawing and mixed media.
Exhibition brings participating artists together
A group exhibition featuring work by the participating artists will run at The Memo Healesville from Wednesday 30th September until Sunday 1st November.

The programme will officially launch at the venue on Saturday 3rd October from 2pm to 4pm.
“Open Studios lets people experience the everyday life of an artist: their space, their materials and their process,” Yarra Valley Arts President Beth Williams said.
“It’s a genuine way into an artist’s world, and visitors can follow the trail wherever it takes them.”
Most participating studios will open across both weekends, while several artists will appear on selected dates only.

Mount Evelyn artists Alesh Macak, Jodie Westall Kimpton and Minela Krupic will open their studios on 10th and 11th October. Healesville printmaker Greg Ure and Chum Creek artist Kate Taylor will also participate during the first weekend only.
Yarra Junction artist Monika Andrew Poray will open her studio on 24th and 25th October.
The remaining programme includes artists based across the region, among them Ted Secombe in Dixons Creek, Alex Krstic in Don Valley, Kate Baker in Warburton, Tania Chanter in Silvan and Beth Williams in Yarra Glen.
