Montague Farms to deliver tastings, workshops and live demos at MIFGS 2026
Montague Farms will return to the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show from 25th-29th March 2026, following appearances in 2024 and 2025. The exhibitor will deliver a program of tastings, workshops, and demonstrations across the five-day event.
At MIFGS 2026, Montague Farms will present a mix of free educational sessions and ticketed experiences. In addition, visitors will access live cooking demonstrations, family-focused activities, and sampling opportunities throughout the show.
As the event’s only fruit exhibitor, Montague Farms will showcase a range of apples available for tasting. These include Ambrosia™, KISSABEL®, and JAZZ™ varieties, alongside additional selections sourced directly from the orchard.
Furthermore, new products will join the sampling lineup for the first time. These include Applecraft Granny Smith and Pink Lady varieties, as well as Croc Eggs™ plums, which will be available during the final stage of the season.

Workshops, demonstrations and family sessions are scheduled
On Saturday, 28th March, Alice Zaslavsky will deliver cooking demonstrations during the day. The session will feature her Ruby Red Roll Ups recipe using KISSABEL® apples.
Later that day, a ticketed workshop titled All About Apples will take place. Attendees will receive a three-course tasting featuring dishes prepared with JAZZ™, Ambrosia™, and KISSABEL® apples.
On Sunday, 29th March, Clancy Lester will lead a workshop focused on building bee hotels. The session will include information on pollination and native bee conservation, alongside a practical activity for participants.
Meanwhile, on Friday, 27th March, Foodbank Victoria will host family-focused workshops. These sessions will explore how apples are consumed across cultures and include interactive science activities for children.
Additional tastings will also be scheduled during the event. These include an Ambrosia™ tart prepared by Gareth Whitton on Thursday at 12pm, as well as Summer Snow juice tastings from Bellevue Orchards on Friday evening.
