Recognition for Infrastructure Modernization in Storage
NetApp has been awarded the 2026 Google Cloud Infrastructure Modernization Partner of the Year for Storage. Announced on April 21st, this recognition highlights the company’s achievements in enhancing infrastructure for Google Cloud users.
The award emphasises NetApp’s significant role in assisting customers to modernise their infrastructure and manage enterprise workloads by using Google Cloud NetApp Volumes. This collaboration enables customers to integrate Intelligent Data Infrastructure with minimal complexity and maximum efficiency.

Enhanced Capabilities with Google Cloud
Over the past year, NetApp and Google Cloud have expanded the capabilities of Google Cloud NetApp Volumes. This includes the introduction of block storage and improved integration with Google Cloud services like Google Cloud Assist and Gemini CLI Extensions. These enhancements make it easier for customers to leverage Google’s AI services directly.
Pravjit Tiwana, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cloud Storage and Services at NetApp, highlighted, “This recognition for the seventh time reflects the work we’ve done with Google Cloud to help customers run enterprise workloads in the cloud without rearchitecting.”
