NetApp backs Falcons-Bengals clash at Bernabéu
The NFL Madrid Game will return to the Bernabéu Stadium on Sunday, 8th November 2026, when the Atlanta Falcons face the Cincinnati Bengals in Madrid.
NetApp will return as presenting partner for the 2026 game. The company is also the NFL’s Official Intelligent Data Infrastructure Partner under a multi-year agreement.
The Bernabéu is the home of Real Madrid C.F. NetApp also served as presenting partner for the inaugural NFL Madrid Game in 2025.
Rafa De Los Santos, country manager of NFL Spain, called the 2025 game at the Bernabéu a landmark moment for the league in Spain. He added that the Falcons and Bengals will bring two exciting teams to Madrid in November.
According to the NFL, the Madrid fixture is one of nine international games in the 2026 season. Other host cities include Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro, London, Paris, Munich and Mexico City.
NetApp became the league’s Official Intelligent Data Infrastructure Partner in April 2025. Since then, it has worked with the NFL on secure infrastructure and international game activations, including the NFL London Games.
The NFL uses NetApp’s systems for league operations. That work includes the storage and security of large volumes of gameday video from every NFL game.
César Cernuda, president at NetApp, said football fans expect a strong experience whether a game is played at home or on another continent. He said the company is helping the NFL build data infrastructure that stays fast, protected and accessible as the league grows abroad.
NetApp London Games role
NetApp will also serve as presenting partner for the 2026 NFL London Games. Week 4 brings the Indianapolis Colts against the Washington Commanders on 4th October at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Week 5 features the Philadelphia Eagles against the Jacksonville Jaguars on 11th October at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Week 6 follows on 18th October, when the Houston Texans play the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium.
Ticket sales for the Madrid game are split into two phases. Hospitality packages have been available since 5th June, while general admission opens on 9th July.
Fans can sign up for game and ticket updates at nfl.com/Madrid. Meanwhile, the NFL’s Spain accounts, @nflespana on Instagram and TikTok, will carry more news about the event.
